Vux i12 is Eksjö's adult education unit responsible for both basic and upper secondary adult education, as well as Swedish for immigrants and tailored education for adults. Currently, we have around 450 students enrolled, and our staff consists of about twenty employees with various competencies and roles.

Our operations are characterized by a non-prestigious climate with great openness between different teams, where everyone focuses on the best interests of the students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an SFI teacher, you will work to provide students with the linguistic tools to communicate and actively participate in society by:

• Planning, implementing, and developing the teaching of Swedish.
• Supporting, stimulating, and motivating students' knowledge development based on their individual circumstances.
• Monitoring students' learning and progress and conducting grading in relation to the goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish as a second language. Experience in adult education and literacy is an advantage.

You are interested in working with both language teaching and integration into the local community and labor market. You naturally have a positive view of people and can work independently while taking responsibility and initiative in accordance with the assignment.
